My brush with artistry (Thanksgiving 2011)

After the turkey and football, we took a painting class – acrylics with a seascape as your intended outcome.  Here’s the play-by-play.

What I learned:

1. I’m pretty decent at long smooth strokes.
2. Not so much when it comes to creating and improvising with the brush
3. I do really well with the small, thin brushes filling in the details.
4. 3 hours was my limit
5. I’d do it again, but I’ll stick to writing and triathlons as my hobbies.
